A CHRISTMAS FAIRYTALE IN THE EMBRACE OF ICE WATERFALLS
Where breathtaking creations of nature, biblical message and art go hand in hand …
A 40-minute long theatrical performance, where 20 actors will line up in front of you, is set in the backdrop of the magnificent 25-meter ice waterfalls, which are otherwise a winter climbing area.
The peculiarity of our Christmas show is that it consists of twenty tiny scenes. Visitors are always addressed by two stories: one is biblical – a central, key and message-rich story, full of Mary’s trust and devotion and Joseph’s faith in the bride, which the young couple crowns with the acceptance of a new life. Along with this story, we place fragments of our personal questions, concerns, doubts of the past year.
The theatrical performances will be performed every day between 25. and 30. 12. 2024
at 16., 17. in 18. o’clock.

Quick informations:
Arrive at least 15 minutes early to the venue to purchase your ticket and explore the first part of the Ice Kingdom at your leisure before the performance. Tickets can only be purchased on-site, and reservations are not possible.
The theatrical performance takes place in the second part, in the Ice Waterfalls Hall, followed by the third part with games and photo points.
Plan for approximately 1.5 hours for your visit 
Dusk falls around 5:00 PM, and that’s when the lights shine even brighter, making the ice come to life. 
Parking is available directly in front of the venue and is free of charge 
Parents, please remind your children not to break icicles or kick fences so that other visitors can enjoy the Ice Kingdom in its pristine condition 
Pet owners, please leave your furry friends at home, as the performance includes sound, lighting, and pyrotechnic effects 
Admission fees are paid on-site in cash. Reservations are not required (except for groups of more than 30 people). Prices: Adults: 20 €, Children (6 to 14 years old): 10 €, Preschool children (below 6 years old): 5 €.
No discounts are available. Persons with special needs and individuals with valid disability cards have free entry.
At the entrance, we’ve prepared stalls to make the wait more enjoyable, offering hot drinks and selling handmade Christmas decorations.
We recommend warm clothing and footwear. While the paths are covered with sand, caution is still advised.
Take your time exploring the first part of the Icy Kingdom; there is no need to rush to the second part (where the performance takes place). Once the performance concludes, you will not be able to return to the first part, as the next group of visitors will already be entering – the route is circular
If you are planning to spend the whole day, we recommend visiting the Slovenian Alpine Museum, the Viharnik Garden, the Peričnik Waterfall, and nearby Kranjska Gora, where you can explore the Alpine Village, Lake Jasna, the Planica Nordic Center, take a walk to the Tamar Lodge in the Tamar Valley, or visit the Zelenci Nature Reserve.
