Dear visitors of the Ice Kingdom Mojstrana,
We are happy to announce that we have once again prepared a magical and renovated festive world that will delight all lovers of winter magic. This year, the Ice Kingdom will shine in a new look, enriched with unique experiences for the whole family. The estimated opening date depends on weather conditions.
Among the new features, you can explore the renovated mill, discover new archways and sculptures, and admire the Holy Family. Thousands of festive lights will illuminate your path even more brilliantly this year, while from your throne in the fairy-tale part of the kingdom, you can reign for a moment like a king or queen.
You will be delighted by the new photo spots, simple games for the little ones and an ice swing that will enchant all romantics. Let yourself be guided through the mystical forest that has become the heart of the hidden part of the kingdom, and at the end, take a walk to the magnificent Christmas tree that will greet you as you say goodbye.
Visiting the Ice Kingdom is subject to weather conditions, so keep an eye on our website and social networks for the latest information on opening times. Subject to change in the event of adverse weather conditions.
The tickets will be available at followingprices: 8 € for adults, 5 € for children between 6. and 14 years old and 2 € for our youngest.
Here are some more important information to make your visit even more enjoyable:
The lights on the venue will enchant the Ice World around 17:00, unfortunately they cannot be seen before then due to daylight. The car park directly in front of the venue is free of charge, making it easy for you to access our experience. If you are traveling by bus, contact us for more information about the parking.
Parents, please teach your children not to break the beautiful candles or kick the ice fences so that all visitors can enjoy an untouched magical experience in the Ice Kingdom.
Puppy owners are kindly asked to leave their pets at home if possible. Cleaning yellow puddles from the ice is extremely difficult and your help in keeping the ice clean will be greatly appreciated.
You can easily pay the entrance fee on the spot with cash. Reservations are not required, except for groups of 30 people or more. There are no guided tours, except by prior arrangement for large groups.
The Alpine House with its beautiful handicrafts awaits you at the entrance, while in the nearby village of Mojstrana (Inn Pr Železnk, Pizzeria Kot, Aljažev hram, Špajza) you can enjoy a festive offer of food and drinks.
For a full-day experience, we recommend a visit to the Slovenian Alpine Museum, the Viharnik Garden, the Peričnik Waterfall and nearby attractions in Kranjska Gora, such as the Alpine Village, Jasna Lake, the Planica Nordic Centre, the Tamar Home in Tamar, and the Zelenci Nature Reserve. 💡
You are cordially invited to join the festive atmosphere and experience the magic of the Mojstrana Ice Kingdom!
Best regards,
Ice Kingdom Mojstrana Team
