You can come to Mojstrana for a whole day. In addition to the Icy Kingdom, you can also see the Peričnik waterfall, which is less than an hour’s walk away. When it freezes and creates an ice curtain it becomes truly magnificent. For all of you who love mountains and are interested in the history of mountaineering, a visit to the Slovenian Alpine Museum is a must. There, you can also take on the Triglav Challenge (escape room), take a virtual ride down the steel cable from Triglav, or escape from the escape room: Escape from the Bivouac!

If you are interested in what Mojstrana looks like from a height, you can go to Grančišče a small rocky hill that proudly rises above Mojstrana. The way to the top will take you roughly half an hour.

You can also continue the trip to Kranjska Gora, the center of winter sports experiences, where you can go skiing, skating, cross-country skiing, easy hiking in the surrounding mountains or warm up with tea and fire in the Alpine village.

Another option is to leave the car in Mojstrana near the Viharnik Garden or the Slovenian Alpine Museum and continue on foot along Triglavska cesta, over the green bridge and up the hill. You can reach the gorge in about 5 minutes. If you are going to visit us by camper or bus, we recommend that you choose the latter option.
